At melimelo children are welcomed in one of two groups
The Purple Group:
The Purple Group welcomes children from 3 months to 2 years/2.5 years old. Within the Purple Group, there are two subgroups: "The Reds" for children under 18 months old, and "The Blues" for children over 18 months old. The youngest children have a dedicated space, specifically designed and equipped to meet their needs. The educational team adapts to the individual rhythms and requirements of the children, including meals, sleep, and diaper changes.
The Orange Group:
The Orange Group caters to children from 2 years/2.5 years old to 4-6 years old. Similar to the Purple Group, the Orange Group is also divided into two subgroups: "The Yellows" for younger children and "The Reds" for older ones. Within the Orange Group, mealtimes and rest periods are separated between the two subgroups. Additionally, for certain activities, outings, or specific periods during the day, the group may be further divided. The Orange Group also accommodates school-age children (4 years old and above) for extracurricular times such as meals, afternoons, and school holidays. Here, children experience a collective rhythm while their individualities and needs are taken into consideration.
On average, each group welcomes between 10 and 15 children per day.
